With the changing and developing technology, numerous new systems that cannot be given up have a great impact are becoming part of our lives. Augmented reality (AR) is one these which can claimed as magic. AR has been gaining considerable interest in field education, language learning since Pokémon Go, most well-known location-based game, was launched. There much evidence to support effectiveness education. The present study set out review detail current research studies published SSCI/ESCI/ERIC indexed privileged journals education technology within last five years, on topic augmented learning. selection articles made basis empirical use Surprisingly, only seventeen seem fall into said category selected, journals. On grounds there emerges lack such complying with nature study, all reviewed detail, terms three aspects: (1) features, focus, design, data collection tools, educational context; (2) AR, theory behind use, applications used studies; (3) results studies. showed emphasis vocabulary learning, effectiveness, attitudes, motivations learners scant attention skills. paucity focusing specifically different Hence, it desirable examine effects skills learners.
